Thames Coast Community Kindergarten held a working bee on October 29 to spruce up its Te Puru establishment with more than 60 volunteers making planter boxes, painting a new mural, removing old trees and weeds, and preparing the ground to lay concrete for a new shed. All materials were supplied by The Kiwi Kids Charity who also provided food for the hungry workers and a fire engine and police car display for the kids.
