Alley Memorial Park bowled into its 100th year with a celebration of the milestone at the Hikutaia clubrooms on January 21. Organiser David Corbett said the event was attended by around 120 people who had been associated with the club and speeches were delivered to highlight the tennis, croquet, bowling, fundraising efforts and war memorial aspects of the park.
