The body of missing man Stephen Scott has been found, police confirmed today.
Mr Scott had last been seen in Turua at approximately 11pm on March 20. He was believed to be travelling on foot, possibly to the Coromandel.
He was found yesterday. The death was not thought to be suspicious, and will be referred to the coroner.
The family have stated their appreciation for the time and effort people have put into finding him, and have asked for privacy.
