The Ngātea War Memorial Hall was packed as 150 people attended the Lions Club Daffodil Day cancer fundraiser on August 23. Meanwhile, the Paeroa RSA was a sea of yellow for their event on August 28, with balloons, yellow-themed table settings, and of course, the ubiquitous bunches of daffodils. Both events were filled with laughter, food and conversation.
Valley Profile reporter ALICE PARMINTER popped in to take a look.
