Police are now able to advise the name of the person who died following a crash on Port Road, Whangamatā on September 27.
He was 35-year-old Joshua Nathan Warburton from Whangamatā.
An investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
A scene guard has been in place overnight, and Police will be working with fire investigators to determine the cause of the fire. FILE PHOTO
