Thames dentist Andrew Chang will perform a range of guitar music for Thames Music Group’s free Friday lunchtime concert on March 22.
The concert will be held at St George’s Church in Thames at 12:15pm.
Andrew has been playing the guitar for 45 years.
“The latter half of my years have been dedicated entirely to acoustic fingerstyle playing,” he said.
“After seeing the great Tommy Emmanuel, I was blown away by how much can be done on six strings with no accompaniment, a one man band able to entertain audiences with well-loved songs performed instrumentally on one guitar.”
Andrew now continues to enjoy reimagining and arranging many popular songs to play in solo acoustic fingerstyle.
His song choices reflect the influence of growing up in the classic rock era – everything from The Beatles onwards, with a few surprises along the way.
