Ahoy there to new families

ADVERTORIAL
The Paeroa Marine & Cycle Centre welcomes new families to the area.
Owner Gary Johansen said the centre was a one-stop shop for all things outboard, including repairs and Yamaha outboard sales, with fishing and hunting gear, push bikes and marine chandlery also available.
“With our unwavering dedication to excellence and extensive expertise in the field, we are your go-to resource for all your boat maintenance and repair needs.”
Gary heads a knowledgeable and friendly team focussed on providing quality service, and just last month celebrated a monumental achievement. “We’ve been 45 years in business and 45 years in association with Yamaha New Zealand,” Gary said.
On top of this, Gary was also acknowledged as the longest standing Yamaha dealer in New Zealand. “What’s made it enjoyable is the friends I’ve met,” Gary said.
With strong support from the community and customers who have become “long term friends”, Gary and the team continue to put their customers first.
The team services mainly in the Coromandel and Clevedon areas, but also travel “as far as Parengarenga up north, and as far south as the Chatham Islands”.
Gary said he started with a team of three, and now there are seven staff.
Workshop manager Sam Johansen and head mechanic Dylan Harris are the mobile mechanics. Based out of the workshop and office are the rest of the team – office manager Cath Crosby, retail/shop representative Carly Roff and apprentices Steven Dee and Hadlee Marshall.
