Muddy running

Secondary students from across the Thames Valley gathered at South Farms in Mangatarata on May 28 to compete in the Thames Valley Secondary Schools Cross Country Champs. Ongoing showers meant the course was muddy and slippery, but the students were in good spirits as they made their way across paddocks, up and down hills, along a gravel road and back to the finish line. ALICE PARMINTER popped along to catch the action.
