Children and families are invited to attend the annual Halloween Alternative event at the Paeroa War Memorial Hall on November 1, from 5pm.
Attendees are invited to dress up in this year’s theme which is Classic Cartoons, and prizes will be awarded to the best outfits.
Event organiser Bob Turlington told The Profile it was a safe and fun event many locals enjoyed going to.
Last year there were more than 300 people who attended the popular annual event, he said.
People could expect to see and play silly games such as Pick your Nose and Smack the Rat, Bob said.
“There will [be] lots of lollies, food, and door prizes like free pizzas, movie passes.”
