Hi, I’m Tony Hubscher from Peter and Son.
I’ve been selling woodwork since 2021 when I built my son a fish filleting bench (he’s had about a dozen of them now but I keep selling them).
I started out with a college degree and a good career ahead of me… and I hated every minute of it.
I’ve had a lot of luck; people keep buying my outdoor furniture and writing 5-star reviews.
So after being made redundant one too many times and with plenty of support, I decided to start a business.
Now, at the end of my third year, I have a catalogue of great products, a workshop full of old tools, a delivery ute with the Peter and Son logo, and a good website but ultimately not quite enough business.
I’m happy making my customers outdoor furniture and I can’t imagine a future any other way.
