The Valley Profile has moved from a monthly publication to being published fortnightly, thanks to huge community support.
Editor Teresa Ramsey said the move to publishing more often began this month, with issues hitting letterboxes on both December 2 and December 16.
After a break over the Christmas and New Year period, the Profile will return on January 6 and publish every second Wednesday from then.
The transition to fortnightly couldn’t have happened without the incredible support from local businesses and the community, who really got behind the locally owned and operated community newspaper in a difficult year, she said.
“We are so grateful to all our local businesses who have supported the Profile, and also to our readers.
“Nearly every day we receive positive feedback about The Valley Profile from our communities, who love reading local stories on every page,” she said.
“It’s been so rewarding for The Valley Profile team to be able to provide 100 per cent local news and content, which is so important for connecting our amazing communities in the Thames Valley.”
The Valley Profile delivers 12,500 copies to every letterbox in the Thames Valley region, from the Hauraki Plains to Paeroa, Thames and Thames Coast, plus bulk distribution around the Coromandel Peninsula from the December 2 issue.
