ADVERTORIAL
Welcome to the district, one and all. For our newest locals, I have no doubt that you’ll be warmly embraced by our long-standing residents and you’ll soon discover that there is no better place to live.
As the local Member of Parliament, I have the privilege of representing our diverse and vibrant communities.
It’s a pretty big area, with our boundaries stretching from the top of the Peninsula, down to Omokoroa, across the fertile Hauraki Plains, and up the west side of the Firth of Thames.
These communities are full of people who are doing their bit to make our region the best place to live, work, and play. They are the beating heart within our neighbourhoods, local businesses, and volunteer organisations.
Meeting with them and hearing how the decisions made in Wellington impact our communities is a big part of my job as the local MP.
Each time I enter Parliament, these discussions are always uppermost in my thoughts.
I also have a personal connection to the Coromandel.
My family have called this place home for generations. Getting the best outcomes for our region is personal to me.
I’m always keen to hear from constituents.
If you have any issue you wish to discuss or simply an opinion you want to share, don’t hesitate to get touch by either calling 0800 550 330 or emailing mpcoromandel@parliament.govt.nz.
