Thames Hire Centre is a one-stop shop for trailer and equipment rentals in the Hauraki-Coromandel region. Owner Perrin Newland has the community covered for all access, concrete, cleaning, and renovation equipment, building tools, generators, excavators and of course trailers.
“We cater for the smaller commercial hire and DIY sort of people,” he said.
Perrin has been operating the business for five years with help from his wife, Natasha, and is focussed on delivering good customer service and building a good reputation, he said.

“We’re open from 7am-5pm during the weekdays and 7am-12 on Saturdays.
“We offer a weekend deal where you can hire something at a day rate for the whole weekend,” he said.
