Eight to 13-year-old Hauraki Plains students took to Hugh Hayward Domain at Ngātea for the Hauraki Plains Athletics Day on November 15. Event spokesperson Vicki Coles said it was an awesome day for the local schools to come together and for the kids to build friendships and compete in athletics.
